Good lord, what a year for indie-music!
There are a few sonic mythologies out there which have suggested falsehoods like, “Rock’N’Roll is dead”, “there’s no real Country music anymore”, “Hip-Hop has lost its skill”, and others.
Well, we at The Ark of Music are here to refute—with ferocious vigor—all such notions that “real music” has somehow become extinct. We are here to proclaim that—in actuality—the exact and precise opposites are true. Music, my people, has never—ever—been better. Your evidence? The list below.
Per the usual, we simply couldn’t limit the list to just 10 albums. Hence, the honorable mentions list at the bottom which contains another 7 amazing titles!
Thank you again to all of our fans, subscribers, and followers for joining us on our musical quest thus far. (3 years and running.)
Thank you, once more, to all of our artists for refusing to let your art die. We are indebted to you all.
