Bongo Boy TV has just released the latest episode of their Rock N’ Roll TV series, and the hype is vivid. Titled “Thanks To The Many,” Season 14 Episode 11 promises eight fresh tunes ready to set your days off straight, or end each night with a bang.

Episode 11 kicks off with a country pop collab between Gar Francis and Sapphire Star, titled “Hearts On Fire” – a bright, carefree, and uplifting piece with a chorus you can belt at the top of your lungs and guitar solos flocked with the sounds of eternal youth.
A live performance of “Savior” comes next, delivered by Commander McLane Band and vocalist Christina Menn; a slow and blissful country ballad that’s as heartfelt as you can imagine, carrying the vibe of a timeless classic.
Monique Grimme and Sapphire Star Studios’ collaboration lands next, the intriguingly titled country pop single, “The Cure For Envy.” This magical piece follows a romantic connection, its hypnotic music video telling a story of its own.
AkayCentric’s “Recess” switches up the atmosphere astronomically, centering his R&B-infused pop piece in a laid-back beat, topped with soothing melodies and satisfying lyrical flows on love and lust. It’s like Drake meets Jason Derulo, except multitudes more authentic, with the air of a Billboard chart topper.
Monique Grimme and Sapphire Star Studios steal another slot with “Poison Ivy,” which we’ve had the pleasure of reviewing previously here on Ark Of Music. This 80s-inspired pop piece details a toxic relationship under a floral metaphor, its accidentally hilarious music video only adding to this song’s plethora of unique curiosities.
“We Need Love” by Inches From Sin marks a needed break from the norms. A reggae track bolstered by a trap beat and a positive message, this protest song calls out destruction, injustice, lies, and abuse on varying institutional and societal levels, all ribboned together with the theme of love being needed more than ever before.
Gar Francis makes a comeback with his second single of this episode, titled “Cool Cool Baby” – a retro-inspired rock pop piece with a music video fuelled by 80s nostalgia, and a fresh, gritty sound to match! This hot, leathery track features prog rock organs, Judas Priest-like guitar solos, and countless other quirks sadly lost to the turn of the century, now thankfully resurrected in Gar Francis’ bold new take.
Rounding off Season 14 Episode 11 is a final piece from Monique Grimme and Sapphire Star Studios, titled “Neon Pretense.” This bright-skied pop tune twines elements of Beatles-y psychedelia through its happy-go-lucky soundscape, matching 60s-style verses with a 90s-style chorus to craft the ultimate flashback piece.
