Performing in several different Northeast-based bands over the years, the Glastonbury, CT-native, DB.Kinney (a.k.a., David Kinney) now finds meaning and purpose making his own music, using his own name.
Whether performing solo-acoustic sets alone, or with his rambunctious trio—consisting of DB (guitar, vocals), Brandon Novak (drums), and the one known only as Hish (bass)—he has pleased many an audience in his day.
Their latest album, Blind Side Mirror, is a bright and colorful early 90’s-style rock album which contains the lead-off single, Killing Time. Overtones of bands such as Toad The Wet Sprocket and The BoDeans, and others immediately come to mind in this airy and ambient number of loss, regret, and hope for change…
“When your reeling in the early morning
Won’t you stumble back up into my head
When your earth is its lonely orbit
Take some fight to find me instead…”
WHOSE LOVECHILD…?
Toad The Wet Sprocket meets The BoDeans…
