Little is known about the Manchester, England & Vancouver, Canada-based electro-pop outfit known as Everyday Avenue (EA). But we do know their intention.
“We wanted to make music that explored different sounds, like going on a journey down different avenues and everyday discovering new wonders…”
Claiming to have done it all, “…from underground bootlegs to Top 40 hits in the charts, from live national radio gigs to global TV shows, from Ibiza residencies to the world’s biggest festivals…”, this team of music-makers is now only interested in one thing: increasing and improving the world’s vibration through music.
“Everyday Avenue’s aim is to release music with a positive nature, something that’s uplifting on an everyday basis, from your morning coffee to driving home from work…”
In keeping with that intention, EA has recently released their debut single, Peace, in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. A liquid smooth piano loop unites with a subtly funky guitar riff and minimalist percussion to create an ultra-smooth, finely produced piece of electro-pop thrusted into the musical ether under the power of a single glowing verse…
“I got peace on my mind…”
Below, check out Peace’s official video which follows the life and inspiration of a young hacker who goes on to create a computer super-virus that shuts down an evil, corporate empire.
