For the second time, we got to hang out with Decatur, Georgia’s electo-soul ambassador, Goldberg. He and his crew have been hard at work with their next creation: Stumbled. And, if his music hasn’t yet tipped you off to the multidimensional aspects of his talent, the interview surely will. We never end a conversation less than impressed by not only his charisma, but his moral compass, and his ability to articulate the things that matter most…
“We need to remember that what we say and what we do—matters. It matters so much. And what we decide to glorify, and what we decide to get behind…we really need to check that. The type of music that we create, and the environments that we create with art…it’s a power. It’s an opportunity to really create change. It’s a power to motivate people to do terrible things. It’s a powerful thing, and we as musicians and as artists need to remember that, and value that, and honor that, and really think about what we write, and what we’re trying to portray.” –Daniel Goldberg
True to his nature, Mr. Goldberg also requested that we be sure to give love to a few people he’d forgotten to mention in the interview: Venerate Studios, and actors Chris Kubiak and Lidia Hanevold.
