Having attended Australia’s esteemed JMC Academy, and known for their hard work and attention to musical detail, the Sydney, Australia-based EDM duo known as JDR has been making quality noise and getting play on Aussie-airwaves.
Consisting of Derrick Attwood (producer, performer), and Joshua Paltoo (producer, performer), the creative duo serves as an example of why Australia is quickly becoming a new-music powerhouse. (At The Ark of Music, we’ve seen a bit of that down-under vibe over the past year as well.)
Their latest single, the silky smooth, bass-heavy, Only U, has an airy, celestial sound, and a dash of an island vibe.
With great production and an agenda that consists of nothing more than filling the dance floor, the track shows promise for Attwood and Paltoo. We’ll be looking forward to hearing more from this young Aussie duo in the near future.
