Californian one-man punk band Last Anarchists Standing is about to drop one megalith of an album on July 14th. With a title like an 80s cult horror flick, The Anarchist Ice Cream Club features a whopping 24 snappy tracks cut with a fresh DIY edge, tied together by a cackle-worthy concept. As Last Anarchists Standing reveals in his own words:
“The album is set in the near future where punk rock is classified as a mental illness, Loki X and the other “patients” escape to make music, eat ice cream, and create a little anarchy!”
And if you’re thinking this sounds like a movie plot, you’d be spot on; as The Anarchist Ice Cream Club is set to soundtrack an upcoming film, which frontman Loki currently has in production.
