Known as the alt-pop brainchild of singer-songwriter, guitarist, Michelle Blanchard, the three piece outfit know as, Madyx, consists of Blanchard, Pablo Martins (guitar), and Dakota Issacson (drums).
Listing the influences of a time-spanning collage of respectable artists which includes the likes of Pink, No Doubt, Melissa Etheridge and others, in just a few short years this group has experienced their share of success with festivals, radio airplay, and appearances on film scores.
Previous music includes 2015’s Worth the Risk EP, as well as host of singles, which includes their latest, the downright sassy and culturally inevitable, Girl Boy.
Witty writing, thumping bass, a few guitar chords, and just enough synth to tie it all together—the formula can be this simple. Blending the best production that the electro & rock worlds have to offer, Girl Boy rebels in the name of sexual freedom for girls and boys everywhere. And, if you’re into it, be sure to explore the rest of her library, this girl’s no one-trick pony. There’s more in the tank here.
