Pushed to the brink of an emotional breakdown after the quick passings of the love of his life, and a lifelong friend, Huntington Beach, California-based singer-songwriter, Mark Ambuter, turned to his music for healing and grace.
“One teenage girl asked me how I give so much of myself through my music. I wrote back telling her I’ve been to hell and back…”
Soon after, creating a menu of tangibly emotive songs quickly afforded him the opportunity to work with legendary producer, Stuart Epps, (Led Zeppelin, John Lennon, George Harrison, Bad Company, Elton John).
Now, following up songs like, You Make Everything Alright, Get Out While You Can, and, When It’s Right Now With You And The World, is his latest composition, Love Is Everywhere, which has spent time as the #1 most requested track on Bearradio.net.
A folksy melody which opens with a lovely and unconventional bit of sitar and flute, the track is composed in true satsang fashion with a simple message…
“The world can be an ugly place… if you’ve got friends and look beyond your circumstances, you will see love around you and a reason to carry on.”
Life is never without a bit of irony. But, with patience—Mark’s brand of patience—that irony can beautiful. We look forward to hearing more from the artist; perhaps an Epps-produced album one day?
