Boston Mass’s Alt-rock foursome, Pale Monsters, is the brainchild of Boston rock-music scene veteran, Chris Mulvey.
Driven by the desire to create something truly unique, once Mulvey (vocals, guitar, composition) joined forces with a few musical companions in, Kevin McGrath (bass, vocals, production), Mike Ward (keys/synth, guitar, sound-guy), and Travis Richter (drums, percussion, motivator/enforcer), it wasn’t long before they’d created 2016’s 5-song debut EP, Take What You Can Take, an album that led to much revelry, particularly in the local Boston area.
Now, just over a year later, the boys are back with that wildly unique, laser-synth-drenched rock in the form of their new single, All The Time We Wait.
If you’ve never experienced PM prior to this moment, I’m excited for you, as this track contains all of the elements that have earned them comparisons to the likes of David Bowie, The Talking Heads, and even Elvis himself. Perhaps the most notable of these elements being Mulvey’s desperate pleas…
“Mow the lawn and my soul shakes
I scream to let it out
I always keep a little doubt…”
Whose lovechild..?
Bowie meets The Cars…
