“Christmas Is Coming, The Goose Is Getting Fat” kicks off 2025’s compilation – a feel-good festive ballad crafted by Monique Grimme in collaboration with Sapphire Star Studios, resurrecting vintage, 90s Christmas atmospheres with a delectable sparkling edge.
Inches From Sin steal the record’s second slot with “Christmas Time,” switching up the vibe dramatically with a rock ‘n’ roll take on the most wholesome time of year. Distorted guitars, prog rock organs, jingle bells, and choir singing? What more could you possibly want this Christmas?!
“First Snowfall Memory” descends like an unearthed ‘70s/’80s Christmas #1 – hints of disco, funk, pop, and rock all wrapped up into one bright and festive bundle, presented by Monique Grimme, again in collaboration with Sapphire Star Studios.
Simonne Draper’s “Flowertina” takes a dive into angelic acoustics in this magical tune, slathered with string sections, harp-like guitar motifs, and glimmers of church bells echoing through this instrumental wonderland.
“Silver Dust and Mistletoe” captures the dreamy ambience of its title masterfully, marking Monique Grimme and Sapphire Star Studio’s third appearance on the album. This one’s absolutely unmissable, its explosive chorus like a cascade of golden stars falling through the frozen night.
Boys’N’Barry team up with Sandi Kight for the upbeat pop bop, “It Was Santa,” sprinkling some child-like fun over the season with an uplifting vintage twist.
“Jingle Jangle Jingle” kicks off with a Barry White-style spoken word intro, before diving headfirst into a tasty disco/funk jam, scattered with hard rock guitar solos in classic Inches From Sin style.
Steve Contino asks every child’s favourite question on “Why Can’t Everyday Be Christmas” – a pop song that’ll get the whole family up and dancing your Christmas evenings away!
Jackie Kringle & The Elves take the title track with “Let’s Have A Rockin’ Christmas,” their instantly contagious punk-rock seasonal smash hitting like a chart-topper from the likes of Jet (think: “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” but festive, with a feral harmonica solo tied in as a Secret Santa treat!)
“I Love Christmas Time” brings things into the realm of radio pop, this synth-based EDM track by Wayne Olivieri and DJ Christ Ibe captures vibes comparable to Lady Gaga and David Bowie, all rolled into one hyperactive remedy ready to counteract the winter blues.
Monique Grimme and Sapphire Star Studios return with “My Favorite Part of Christmas” – a snowy and sentimental piano ballad, featuring Disney-like atmospheres and Taylor Swift-style songwriting served with warmth, heart and soul.
Kristin Hope delivers a manic rock ‘n’ roll cover of the Christmas classic, “I Saw Three Ships” – her genre-twisting party anthem ribboned with pure youth and the unstoppable sugar-rush-style excitement of a Christmas morning overflowing with gifts and good times.
“New Year’s Lullaby,” presented by The NEW Bardōts, seals the record with one final, retro spin on the season; another hyperactive hit to get the grannies up and dancing until the family tree gets knocked over, baubles and all, in the midst of the band’s euphoric mayhem.
