NY-based EDM producer Chris Padin is well on his way to making an impact in his chosen genre, with his tracks on Spotify racking up thousands of streams. His recent single Losing My Mind is no exception – featuring vocals from Georgia Rose from the hit TV show Below Deck, this dynamic single is a great introduction to Padin’s style.
From the opening measures, it’s clear Padin has a handle on effective use of production. Despite plenty of movement and texture at the start, there’s restraint in the instrumentation, allowing excitement and anticipation to build. The chorus is full and explosive, bringing complex beats and endlessly catchy melodic lines to the forefront.
Georgia Roses’s vocals are an excellent inclusion in this track. Her tone is warm and inviting, bringing in elements of authenticity and richness. Altogether, it’s an addictive combination of pop accessibility and technical arrangement capabilities.
