Based in Copper Mountain, Colorado, the four-piece hard-rock outfit known as, Dirty Snowman Society, consists of Frank Costantini (vocals, drums, percussion), Jonnie Law (lead guitar), Patrick Linfante (bass), and Chris Todoroff (guitars, percussion).
“…established in 2017 at 10,000 feet. Played around a few places…”
The conglomerate of an Emmy winning TV director & best selling author, a touring metal band member, a ski and surf instructor, and a successful lawyer, these otherwise established men came together with a single purpose: the desire to make the kind of classic hard rock that inspired them to become musicians.
Their debut single, Taste Of Heaven, offers solid contrast as it juxtaposes a light and airy verse with a thick, distorted chorus. A solo at 2:07 feels a bit like Alice In Chains’ 1994 hit, No Excuses. Costantini’s vocal timbre wails, right at home with the genre, as he contemplates the nature of love, sex, and the addiction that occurs at the convolution of the two…
“Bring me down, bring me down
Aww bring, bring me down
Let me taste your poison
Fill me with your disease
Take, aww take me down
To your underground
Baby, where I can breathe
Your slice of hell, your slice of hell
Your slice of hell, tastes like heaven to me…”
WHOSE LOVECHILD…?
Shinedown meets Days Of The New with a dash of Alice In Chains…
