At 13 years old, his mother put him on a bus headed away from the cold streets of Chicago, and into the warm arms of his grandmother in Los Angeles, California. There, Dane (a.k.a., I’m Just Dane) sang in church, taught himself how play the piano, and followed his influences of Michael Jackson & Usher, until the music—turned into his music.

Now, this father and 50-hour/week FedEx driver uses whatever “spare time” he has in order to record the songs of both the joy and pain which fill both his debut EP, 2018’s Eighty6 & Rhodes, as well as his 2019 project, A Conduit Of Light.
Proclaiming his steely focus and inability to be thrown off-course—despite all the temptations the flesh can offer—is his latest single, I Don’t Need’Em.
