Phoenix, Arizona’s three-piece rock outfit known as, Radiofix, consists of Daniel Martin (vocals, guitar), Benjamin Thurston (bass), and Jorge Gutierrez Jr. (drums); an iteration of the band that has been successfully playing together for seven years.
With iconic influences which include The Counting Crows, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, and others, these three music-makers have intentionally tapped into a long, multi-genre rock lineage rich in substance and soul.
As busy in the studio as they are on the road, their recorded work includes a list of singles, EPs and albums such as, Already Gone, Radiofix EP, Believe, and others.
Immediately recognizable in their latest single, All Night Long, are the references above to The Counting Crows and Tom Petty. That said, by the end of the first chorus we also hear the likes of Seven Mary Three and Matchbox Twenty.
“She lies awake at night her eyes as bright as the stars
And her heart as dark as the sky that they hang on…”
Heavy guitar chords follow Martin’s made-for-the-genre vocal timbre in this classic ode to the regret that inescapably follows lost love. This is a very cool late-90’s-style rock song with tons of soul, powerful dynamics, and a relatable story. (Pssst, it made our list of 2020 top 10 candidates—it’s that good.) Check out, All Night Long, below.
