Born and raised in Austin, Texas, indie hip-hop artist, Ro$ewood Renegade, comes from a long musical family lineage.
His own artistic journey began when he and his brother, Deezle, started their own rap duo, Double or Nuttin, while in school. There, the MC got a taste of celebrity and reputation which would ultimately fuel his future creative endeavors.
“You hear me knockin’, go let me in…”
Fast forward some years, and Renegade’s entrepreneurial spirit has led to the self-release of mixtapes such as Money Mitch, I Hustle, It’s About Me, and his latest, In My Own Lane, from which he’s recently released the lead-off single, Knockin.
A Mario Bros-style synth riff rides a distorted kick and clap as Ro$ewood dissects his resume for the record industry gate-keepers.
“My hustle is pure…”
